Terms of service

emberbee is web analytics. You add a script to your site, and emberbee shows you how people use it. Features may change while we build it.

• Use an email address you control, and keep access to it secure. Anyone who can read your email can sign in.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Tell us at support@emberbee.app if you think someone else has used your account.

You agree to:

• Add the script only to sites you own or have permission to track.
• Follow the privacy laws that apply to your site, and tell your visitors about emberbee in your own privacy policy. You can link to the visitors section of ours.
• Keep personal data out of page paths, event names, and event properties. Never send names, email addresses, or sensitive data such as health or financial details.
• Not overload, probe, or disrupt the service, and not use it to break the law.

You own the data your sites collect. You let us store and process it only to run emberbee for you. Our data processing agreement is part of these terms and covers how we handle it. You can export a site's events or delete them at any time.

Plans and prices are on the pricing page. A new account gets a 14-day free trial with no card. You are not charged unless you choose a paid plan, and paid plans renew until you cancel.

If your account has no plan when the trial or a subscription ends, we stop saving your sites' events 7 days later and delete the events you have 60 days later. We email you 7 days before the deletion. Going over your plan's monthly events never costs extra. If it happens twice in 6 months, we ask you to upgrade and lock the dashboard 7 days later.

We work to keep emberbee running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. We provide it as it is.

You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings. That deletes your sites and their events. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Unless the breach is serious, we will tell you first and give you time to export your data.

To the extent the law allows, Triember Studios LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

We may update these terms. We will update the date at the top, and email you before a change that matters takes effect. If you keep using emberbee after that, you accept the new terms.

The laws of the State of Nebraska, United States govern these terms.
